Ashok Kumar Jain

Non-Executive Director

Ashok is Executive Director, Micro Labs Ltd., India. In his current role, he is responsible for managing close to USD 500 million in business in India, the Americas, Australia, and new initiatives.

Ashok has had a successful career spanning 40 years in the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining Micro, he was associated with Ranbaxy Laboratories as Vice President and Country Head, India Region, managing formulation business of US$ 325 million in India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.

Before Ranbaxy, he was associated with Unichem Laboratories as Chief Executive (Pharma), managing the India formulations business. In this role, he was responsible for managing marketing, manufacturing, and business development activities. He has also provided leadership to Unisearch Ltd. (formerly the Upjohn division of Unichem) as Executive Director.

He has been actively associated with industry forums such as the IPA (Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance). He is also associated with premier management institutes like IIMA, NMIMS, etc.
Ashok has done his MBA from IIM Ahmadabad and completed his post-graduation in Food Technology with a minor in Biochemistry. Ashok also did Global Advance Management from ISB-Kellogg.

Dinyar Dhun Elavia

A Chartered Accountant and a Commerce Graduate from the University of Mumbai.
A seasoned professional in the pharmaceutical industry with over 37 years experience.
Previous assignments included having worked in GSK, USV, and Micro Lab limited.

Core competencies are in the functional areas of Finance & Commercial (experienced Chief Finance Officer and Chief Commercial Officer), and include financial management, Supply Chain operations, Licensing, Strategic sourcing, M & A and Deal structuring.

A turnaround strategist and successfully completed the restructuring of a mid sized API company through the Corporate Insolvency process. Experience of setting up a CGMP accredited laboratory for Clinical studies. Overviewed the operations at Plant and successfully institutionalized the new product development process for a large API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) company.

Championed the M & A process and Deal structuring for Licensing of products with Global companies.

Mr. Abbas Sambo

Abbas is a Nigerian and a renowned pharmacist with over 30 years’ experience in business and Non-Governmental organizations. A board member of the company as well as the Leadership for Environment and Sustainable Development for Anglophone West Africa- LEAD (NGO).

A fellow of professional associations including the Nigeria Academy of Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, West African Post graduate College of Pharmacy (PCN), National Institute of Marketing (chartered), National Institute of Direct Marketing, Institute of Benefit and Trust Management and the Leadership for Environment and Sustainable Development.

Mrs. Meeta Shah

Executive Director

Chartered Accountant and fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India as well as ANAN (Association of National Accountant of  Nigeria).

Over 20 years of experience gained across different industries, in companies across USA, India and Nigeria with a successful track record in business transformation, financial restructuring as well as ERP implementation, managing effectively banking relationship, interfacing with tax authorities, external auditors and cross functional business support.
